反譯題目：

　　類似“膀爺”這種中式詞匯，如果英語中沒有對應的說法，一般是采取拼音+注釋的形式進行翻譯，或者就直接意譯。

　　“膀爺”的翻譯處理地很好，先給出拼音，然后說明是"the men without their shirts on"，這個解釋對“膀爺”的實質(zhì)也說明得很清楚，不就是不穿上衣的男人么~

　　點評：boiling season 和 “cool breeze no long visits Beijing”兩處都用到了比喻，很靈活的感覺;threading the bustling streets，thread這里是動詞，意為“穿過、蜿蜒前行”，也非常形象。

　　只是，arm man的說法，雖然可以就字面而言，如此直譯，后面的解釋尚有偏差，因為膀爺并非真的只是露兩個膀子，而是露出整個肚皮或者上半身。

　　總評：大家這里對“膀爺”的翻譯多種多樣，出現(xiàn)最多的說法是man stripped down to the waist，這是很好的描述，strip意為“剝除、脫衣服”，strip show也就是脫衣表演的意思;be stripped down to the waist意即“半裸”;有翻譯成naked man，這里要注意naked 可不分是全裸還是半裸啊，全裸的話那就不是膀爺，是streaker，裸奔者。

　　“炎熱難耐”這個形容詞，大家給出了很多很不錯的翻譯，諸如scorching、irresistibly hot、sizzling summer、in the suffocating heat等，還有同學用到了dog-day，大家知道是什么意思么?其實dog-day就表示三伏天、非常炎熱的天氣。

　　這里的sweltering一詞不是很常見，大家或許想不到，但是，認真讀過Matin Luther King那篇I Have A Dream演講稿的同學也許記得，其中有一句：a state sweltering with the heat of injustice - swelter這里是比喻用法，非常形象，這個句子有沒有記住呢?

　　“輕風、涼風”不是cold wind，而是refreshing breeze，refresh有“使輕松、使涼快”的意思;refreshing drinks也就可以表示我們夏天喝的冷飲。

　　“膀爺”這里的翻譯雖然是"exposing grandfathers"，但是小編偏向于滬友們man stripped down to the waist的說法;外媒對膀爺?shù)慕忉屢参幢鼐湍敲淳珳逝丁?/p>

　　“肚子”要小小注意一下，很多同學用stomach來翻譯，其實stomach表達的是“胃”，指的是器官，而不是我們平時所說的“啤酒肚”的那個“肚子”，所以這里要用belly一詞;那么“啤酒肚”其實就是pot belly。

　　最后一個詞，negotiate，再次強調(diào)一下，這個詞除了表示“談判”，還可以表示“經(jīng)過，穿過”：to successfully travel along or over。negotiate a river，意為“涉水而過”
