一、寫法

　　投稿信(Cover Letter)應(yīng)該簡述所投稿件的核心內(nèi)容、主要發(fā)現(xiàn)和意義，擬投期刊，對稿件處理有無特殊要求等(如“not to review” list)。另外，請附上主要作者的中文姓名、通訊地址、電話、傳真和e-mail地址。此外有的雜志要求推薦幾位審稿人及其聯(lián)系方式。以及誰已經(jīng)閱讀過該文(當(dāng)然是牛人)。

　　一般來說，雜志通常要求說明你論文研究的意義，以及與這個雜志的相關(guān)性，另外還有的可能要寫明你沒有一搞多投等。此外臨床實(shí)驗(yàn)要求寫明符合倫理學(xué)要求。當(dāng)然各個雜志的具體要求是不一樣的，在雜志的guide for authors一般會有要求。如果沒有具體的要求，大家可按照通用要求處理。

　　1.第一次投稿Cover letter：主要任務(wù)是介紹文章主要創(chuàng)新以及聲明沒有一稿多投

     Cover letter中文叫做投稿信，是在投稿的時候?qū)懡o編輯的信，作用跟古時候拜訪人家用的拜帖有點(diǎn)相似。如果把期刊編輯形容成住在高墻大院里的名門望族，那投稿人就是希望給伯樂相中的無名小輩，這么說來拜帖一定要精致醒目有特色。不過如果作者已經(jīng)是業(yè)內(nèi)大牛了，估計(jì)投稿信是可以隨意一些的。

　　雖說文章能不能發(fā)表靠的還是科研價值本身，但是投稿信也是很重 要的。在現(xiàn)在發(fā)表的文章越來越多，權(quán)威期刊不缺稿源的情況下，責(zé)任編輯做的是擇優(yōu)錄用，先淘汰掉一部分感覺上價值不大的稿件。如果投稿信沒有含什么有用的信息，文章一眼看上去又沒有太多吸引力，一些責(zé)任編輯就會很快做出拒稿決定。當(dāng)然用的是非常委婉的說法，拒稿信用的也是統(tǒng)一模板。比如：

　　Thank you for submitting your manuscript, referenced below, to <期刊名>.

　　“文章標(biāo)題”

　　We have examined your paper, and conclude that it is not suitable for this Journal. It is our consensus that a specialized journal in this area would bring your paper to the attention of a more interested audience. This is not a judgement on the technical quality of your manuscript.

　　但是實(shí)際上，這篇第二天就被責(zé)任編輯拒稿的文章其實(shí)符合期刊發(fā)表的研究方向，因?yàn)橛袔灼嚓P(guān)的文章就是發(fā)表在該期刊上。不過被拒了也就拒了，再去辯解也毫無意義。不過好奇之下，還是去google了一下責(zé)任編輯的背景，主要是做光學(xué)的，跟文章所屬的電磁方向雖然是一大類，但還是有所區(qū)別。再回頭看那個投稿信，用的就是以前的模板，只是用兩句話簡要介紹了一下文章的主要結(jié)果。模板如下：
