通常，我們在使用機械設(shè)備的時候，常常會發(fā)現(xiàn)與其附隨著的一些指導(dǎo)性的、具備該設(shè)備全面介紹的信息以及其使用方法和步驟詳情的文本，這就是我們經(jīng)常見到的機械說明書。隨著國與國之間的技術(shù)交流與合作日漸緊密，國內(nèi)的有些機械設(shè)備要銷往國外，走出國門；同樣，為了促進我們機械設(shè)備技術(shù)的發(fā)展，有些設(shè)備也需要引進，這是一個互補的過程。這個過程，實質(zhì)上是一個語言的交流過程，也就是語言翻譯之后再表達的過程。當(dāng)然，這些也都通過機械方面的翻譯工作完全體現(xiàn)出來了，特別是在機械說明書翻譯方面。

機械說明書翻譯的正確與否，直接關(guān)系到生產(chǎn)廠家的利益與信譽，因此，在翻譯的過程中，一定要嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、準(zhǔn)確。另外，機械說明書的翻譯同樣也要遵循機械翻譯的準(zhǔn)則。

一，機械說明書翻譯應(yīng)具有嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)性。

例如，水源由水泵從蓄水裝置供入設(shè)備的進水管，可循環(huán)使用以節(jié)省水資源。必須使用經(jīng)過軟化處理的軟水，以免結(jié)垢堵塞水路，引起不必要的故障。

（譯文）Water is supplied by water pump from the water storage device to the water inlet of the equipment, and it can be recycling to save the water resource. The soft water through softening process must be used to avoid its scale-formation blocking the waterway which may lead to unnecessary fault.

二，機械說明書翻譯要有一定的準(zhǔn)確性。

例如，感應(yīng)器與電源柜確保連接安全可靠。連接線應(yīng)加裝防護裝置，不得踩踏連接線，不得往連接線上面堆放任何金屬物料。在設(shè)備周圍必須設(shè)置安全防護措施，用30mm厚的干燥木板做工作踏臺。

（譯文）Make sure that inductor and power cabinet connect safely and reliably. Connecting line should extra install protective device, and do not step on the connecting line, do not pile up any metal material on the connecting line. Safeguard procedures must be set around the equipment and use dry plank with thickness of 35mm to make working horse block.

三，機械說明書翻譯要保持語句的通順、流暢。

例如，在感應(yīng)器裝置附近打一地線，使感應(yīng)器裝置上面的接地端子直接與大地可靠相連。地線的連接應(yīng)符合電工規(guī)范。

（譯文）Set a ground wire the inductor device make the grounding terminal on the inductor device directly reliably connect with ground. The connection of grounding wire should apply to the electrician standard.

（改譯）Set a ground wire nearby the inductor device and make the grounding terminal on the inductor device directly and reliably connect with ground. The connection of grounding wire should apply to the electrician standard.

各種寬而薄的木板，而plank指比較厚的木板板材，所以，board更為合適。另外，譯文也有一處數(shù)字錯誤，應(yīng)該為30mm，而不是35mm。例3，很明顯，語句不通，令人無法理解原意。

以上乃是機械說明書翻譯的幾個簡單實例，但從這些實例中，我們也看到了在翻譯過程一些易出的錯誤，這就需要我們要有一個正確的翻譯態(tài)度，這樣才能做得更好。
